Our Story...

...began eleven years ago when Jen got up the nerve to go and meet her neighbor, Stacey, with her 4 year old son in tow. After the first hello's, the rest was, as they say...history.

We found we had many things in common...our grandmothers were good friends in the 50's, our aunts and uncles grew up together in a neighboring city and we both just happen to be pregnant with baby boys who were due a week apart.

KINDRED SPIRITS
We were inseparable from the start...two stay at home moms, ready to conquer the world of diapers, endless cleaning and sleepless nights. Whether a shoulder to cry on or a place to go for honest advice, we ended up laughing our way through raising our children.

LIFE GETS BUSY
Stacey moved seven minutes away in 2005...traumatic? Yes. But we've survived. Stacey still enjoys staying home with her youngest and is forging ahead with school work to achieve her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher.

Jen went back to school in 2004 to receive her BS in nursing, and currently loves her job working as an RN at a local Dialysis Center.

Although we still talked everyday...and our children enjoyed frequent sleepovers...we missed each others company...

DID WE SAY COMPANY?
During some reconnecting time one Sunday afternoon, we decided to attend a soapmaking class. The following week, we used our very first bars of soap (simply wonderful!)...we fell in love with soapmaking and started talking business. Thanks to the loving support of our amazing husbands...a few short months later and Good Natured Soaps, llc. was born! We now have plenty of opportunity to talk, vent, or laugh while making and packaging our soaps...each bar filled with goodness... just for you.
